Organically Fed, Free Roaming, Pastured Poultry for Meat & Eggs
Our chickens and turkeys free roam and forage all day for their natural diet while being supplemented with free choice local organic feed specifically formulated for poultry.
They follow the daily pasture rotation of our flerd of cows and sheep, which allows them to feast on new grass every day!
We have our poultry professionally and humanely processed here on the farm. They are then quick-chilled frozen at their peak freshness in order to offer the best tasting and highest quality pasture raised poultry possible.

Our Freedom Ranger Broiler / Roaster Chickens are available frozen throughout much of the year.
You may bulk order 5 chickens at a time through our online store or, if you would like to buy fewer than 5 chickens, please contact us.
If you would like fresh chickens (never frozen) please join our mailing list so we can notify you prior to our next processing day (generally from late spring to early fall)

We generally have Thanksgiving Turkeys available to order beginning in October.
But Thanksgiving isn't the only time to enjoy a farm-raised turkey! We sometimes raise extra turkeys to have ready and available from our freezer any time of year. Just contact Cynthia to see what we have available. Turkey prices are set each year based on stock costs as well as feed costs for that year.
To be notified when turkeys are available, please join our mailing list.

We tend a mixed flock of roaming chickens for eggs year round, allowing them to free range as far as they are comfortable in the winter months and moving around the pastures following our ruminants in the grazing months. This allows them to feast on new grass every day! I believe that new green grass everyday (in addition to all the other goodness they partake in!) is partly why our yokes are so rich and a deep yellow/orange. Mhmm…Yummalicious!
Our laying hens are free to eat a healthy, natural diet of plants, bugs, and insects while being supplemented with free choice local organic feed specifically formulated for poultry (egg layers and meat hens).
Our egg production is quite high in the spring and summer and tapers off in mid-fall as the light begins to fade. We foster a natural rhythm with our flock and allow them to relax and take a break as the days get shorter and the nights get longer. We do not put lights on our hens during the lower light season of the year. We get fewer eggs but we believe we have happier and healthier hens by allowing for their more natural way of living.
If you would like eggs, please contact us.
